Hosted by the Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology and the World Listening Project, Listening for the Future will take place from July 9-11, 2010. We think it’s going to be a fantastic three days, with plenty of information and inspiration to go around. We hope you will join us at this landmark event.

March 11 Meeting Report Posted. The report from the March 11th MSAE/WLP meeting has posted to the worldlistening yahoo group, and to the Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology google discussion group.
AMW The “Acoustic Mirror of the World” is a sculpture/installation that provides a tactile experience of sound. It was recently located to the Little Black Pearl Art & Design Center in Chicago, a wonderful new location following its four-month run in the “Synesthetic Plan of Chicago.” The World Listening Project (WLP) invites you to submit your field recordings and make the “Acoustic Mirror of the World into a point of access to soundscape recordings from around the world. This sculpture/installation built for the tactile experience* of sounds was recently moved to the Little Black Pearl Art & Design Center in…
